Silence
Just the sound of birds singing..talking of which on Sunday there was a flock of about 20 teaspoons in the holly tree, what a lovely sight it was too!
Ok the house is still littered with man things, socks mainly who have lost their partners, now Im not really bothered about pairing them up but apparently it is against Sock Law to put the back in the draws without their partners. Frowned upon if you wear them odd...does it really matter ?
Anyway I have some peace and tranquility for the next ten days until he is back again, then he is back with his new g/f. Not quite sure as yet to the living arrangements, I may move out for a while so they can have the house to themselves, well it would be a little awkward other wise. Im still not so sure about her, I think she will get a shock coming over here, oh and she doesnt like cold wet weather......uhm like it is today, miserable weather really gets you down after a while. I was planning a trip out tomorrow but the forecast is horrible. Best get the needles out....
I just want to get through the day today...

Oh Nic, how awkward! Have you got anywhere to stay? How long are they staying for? Can they not go to a B&B? About the socks... are they the same colour? If so, then I think it's perfectly alright to just pair them up. :-)
