Mad Dogs and Nicolas....

.......go for an 8 ish mile walk in the midday sun!!

Went to fairlands today, not a bad place but really the only green spot in toon, normally lots of families with darling children go there. As the footie was on it was fairly empty. It an uphill walk to get there which is quite nice, but you have to follow the road so a bit noisy. As soon as you get there though the traffic noise disappears and its all green around you. Had some lunch there which was ok, nowt special. Main objective was to try out some more settings on the camera. Im not so sure that they are improving or not, however its nice to use the other settings and actually know what they are. Thanks Mike! Im not the easiest of pupils but I do try!!!!

Was lovely by the lakes and the ponds, by the time I was ready to come home though the park was filling up. Nice stroll all downhill home! Thinking of where to goto tomorrow, although I may have a day at home, get another garden chair from B&Q as my one is at silverstone at the moment, maybe a lazy day in the garden is called for. Suppose I should try and get my legs to match the colour of my arms!!!!!!

Just one last thing about hogs, if you have them in your garden, please make sure you leave out fresh water and some food during the day. This time of year females have had the hoglets and may come out during the day to find food and water. Having this in our gardens means they dont have to go far to get some, which is more chance of survival for them and the hoglets!
