I thought you said the little one was a boy???? How rude.
Hope the cats don't kill your mice and birds then, like they do here.
jan cats at night, mice can hide no birds about! During the day the cats arnt about, I had to do something about the rat! Thanks i feel guilty now...
That was so cute. The little one was more interested in eating than anything else, lol.
Sorry nic, didn't mean to make you feel guilty. I know nothing about catnip, is it something you can take away during the daytime then so that the cats won't be attracted into your garden, or do your local neighbourhood cats only get chucked out by their owners at night?
s'ok jan, they only seem to get chucked out at night time, yeah can put it in a tray and take in during the day that would work too. Problem is you never know what to do for the best, if I had put poision down then more animals could have been affected, this way I hope only the rats are put off and I dont think that I would have to put it out forever...there is so much shelter and hiding places in the garden, plus the blackbird tells me if there is danger about, so can always go out there. Only ever had one problem with one horrible white cat that used to catch the birds and havnt seen him about for ages, the other cats that are about at least do have collars with bells, so a bit more warning for the birds...I just didnt know what to do for the best!
Yeah poison is a big no-no, cos your little cute mice would eat it too, doesn't bear thinking about.... As you know, I wouldn't poison here, but I can't stop the neighbours from doing it, just tried not to think about it. :(
